2015 NMC Technology Outlook for Scandinavian Schools Wiki

Welcome to the workspace for the 2015 Horizon.Scandinavia Project. This is the place for the 2015 NMC Technology Outlook for Scandinavian Schools Panel of Experts to manage the process of researching, discussing, and ultimately, selecting the topics for the 2015 NMC Technology Outlook for Scandinavian Schools . This Scandinavia schools-focused report, which summarizes the qualitative research that will be conducted on this wiki, and the Project as a whole is led by the The New Media Consortium, in collaboration with the Norwegian Centre for ICT in Education (NCICTE), The Swedish National Agency for Education (Skolverket), and Styrelsen for It og Læring (Agency, Ministry of Education, Denmark).

The report will be published at the BETT conference in London, January 2015, and focused on emerging technology and its applications to Scandinavian Schools. 2015 will be its first year of publication.

This project applies the process developed for the New Media Consortium's Horizon Project to the identification of trends and challenges relevant to elementary and secondary learning institutions, and to clarifying key emerging technologies that are sure to impact the sector. Members of the Scandinavian education community are encouraged to follow the Panel of Expert's progress as the discussion unfolds and to use the wiki as a resource and reference tool.
